Our format remains pretty much the same - an unconference style meetup where we discuss topics that matter to you - but we're trying something new this time around which might be (more?) fun.
If you've not had a chance/excuse to try out AWS's new serverless bus service, Amazon EventBridge (or you've forgotten it was a thing), then this is definitely for you. In the second half of the meetup, we're going to host a very brief intro to AWS EventBridge group coding session where we dive in clueless and hopefully, come out the other side with a bit more understanding about how EventBridge could help you become a better serverless developer 😉
Of course, this part is optional and attending Reason team members will be more than happy to pair with you so everyone can join in. In you do decide to participate, note that there will be a requirement to bring your own laptop and you'll probably need your own AWS account as well.
18:30 meets & greets, pizza & drinks, topics
19:00 Intro to Amazon EventBridge workshop
20:00 Finish + high-fives 🙌
- laptop or other coding device of choice
- AWS account (+ sufficient permissions to use/deploy to the EventBridge service)
- serverless framework >=1.49.0 (EventBridge support)
Looking forward to seeing everyone there! If you'd like to get in touch before then please email me.
